Open Ltter to Daniel Snyder: I'm Warning you, Stay Away from Mark Sanchez!

That's right, I'm talking directly to you.

One day before the draft, I just can't take anymore the the so-called "strategy" from the front office. 

Hoping that the Mark Sanchez rumors are mere smokescreen for the Redskins real draft intent, I fear that Mr. Synder will revert to his "immediate gratification" ways and make yet another huge blunder.

The result: Redskin flags at half staff far into the future. That would cause me to turn off my Redskins passion switch.

The team urgently needs an O line—right tackle, center and depth—before further mortgaging the future with a fresh-faced star college QB, the rarest of breeds in first year NFL success.

When your youngest offensive lineman is 29, you know you have problems. A real GM with authority and grit would tell Mr. Synder that he is simply wrong.

The only way trading up and shipping this year's and next's high draft choices in return for Sanchez for Sanchez, is if, in fact, Snyder gambles that 2010 will be an uncapped year—and wins. In that case, he can pay for every worthy and available O-line , D-line and LB free agent, having snared his "franchise QB" in Sanchez.  But the 2009 year will end up being .500 or lower.

Since when is a college QB crowned "franchise" after only starting 16 games in his career?

Dan Synder: Please call reality. Do the right thing on the O and D lines.
