A much changed Real Madrid beat Real Betis 3-1 ahead of their Champions League semifinal against Borussia Dortmund in midweek.

Mesut Ozil opened the scoring just before half time at the Bernabeu, finishing calmly following a one-two with Karim Benzema.

Benzema himself added the second, applying the finish to a Los Blancos counter attack which involved Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Betis pulled one back from the penalty spot through Jorge Molina and could have equalized, only for Ruben Castro hit the bar.

But it was Ozil who wrapped it up, adding Madrid's third and his second in stoppage time.
