MLB Awards Watch—Edition One

Other sports have a weekly awards watch, so I've decided to do it for the MLB.

American League MVP:

AL Rookie of the Year: Ricky Romero (Tor) is pitching fabulously with a 2-0 record, 1.71 ERA, 13 Ks, and 1.10 WHIP in 21.0 IP.

NL Rookie of the Year: Jordan Schafer (Atl) looks the best as of now (obviously it's way early) with a .269 avg, two home runs, and .828 OPS.

AL Manager of the Year: Cito Gaston (Tor) has his team atop the hardest division in baseball. His team now has multiple players that can hit and is developing a nice core of pitchers

NL Manager of the Year: Fredi Gonzalez (Fla) has his team atop the NL East with a deep rotation and a combination of small-ball and power from the offense.
