Marcus Davis: Video Highlights for Former Virginia Tech WR

Marcus Davis spent his college playing days at Virginia Tech.

He didn't have stats that jump off the page, but he is a big, athletic player who is very consistent.

At the Virginia Tech pro day, Davis worked out very well, recording a 4.48 40-yard dash to go along with a 39" vertical leap (per nfldraftscout.com).

Davis has the tools to be a late-round pick in the NFL draft.

36-Yard Catch vs. Virginia

On this play, Marcus Davis just runs right by the defensive back.

Quarterback Logan Thomas makes an easy touchdown a little more difficult by under-throwing the ball, but Davis shows his excellent hands by going up and taking it away from the defender.

Long TD vs. Duke

On this play, Marcus Davis gets behind everyone on the Duke defense for an easy score.

In that game, Davis had five receptions for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

85-Yard Touchdown Against Pittsburgh

Trailing Pitt 28-10, Marcus Davis made one of his biggest plays at Virginia Tech.

On 3rd-and-8 from the team's own 15-yard line, Logan Thomas finds Davis on a crossing pattern.

Davis breaks on tackle and then turns on the speed, easily beating the rest of the defense to the end zone.

With his size, speed and good hands, Davis should attract teams looking for a wide receiver anywhere between the fifth and seventh rounds.
