Navorro Bowman Receives Probation...Again
Linebacker Navorro Bowman received a year of probation—again—after admitting he had used marijuana twice in the last four months, violating his existing probation.
Another violation of his probation and Bowman could very well find himself in jail for six months.
This latest news on this development should ease some fans' minds as they know Bowman, who is slated to be a high impact player along side Sean Lee this season, will still be available as long as he stays out of trouble.
Easier said than done, right?
Bowman should play it safe for a while. One of the team captains should make it their responsibility to touch base with Bowman on a routine basis, and perhaps guide him away from more trouble in the future.
Lee, I'm looking in your direction!
Of course, it is ultimately the responsibility of the player to take accountability for their own decisions, so hopefully Bowman will kick the marijuana habit and focus on school and football in a new light.
