Manchester United Transfer Rumours: 5 Best Creative Players Linked to Red Devils
Manchester United fans have already had plenty to celebrate this season with the Red Devils in prime position to win the English Premier League.
With the EPL title basically locked up, Red Devils fans have turned to the rumor mill to see who might show up in their club's colors next season.
As you can imagine, plenty of players have been linked to the Old Trafford-based club since the last transfer window was shut on January 31.
Here is a sampling of five players who have plenty of creativity in their game that could bring some life to Old Trafford next season.
Jordy Clasie
1 of 5When a player is dubbed the "new Xavi," he must be quite the creative midfielder.
That is the nickname Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie is receiving at the moment and he could be taking his talents to Old Trafford according to the Daily Express.
The 21-year-old has played in 27 Eredivisie matches for Feyenoord this season and has made five appearances for the Netherlands as well in his young career.
Angel Di Maria
2 of 5Angel Di Maria is a burgeoning superstar in world football and all he needs now is a permanent first-team position to further develop his skills on the wing.
Di Maria is currently at Real Madrid where he has made 17 starts and eight appearances as a substitute in La Liga play.
The 25-year-old Argentinian has been linked to both United and Paris St. Germain recently (via The Mirror).
If he joins the Red Devils, Di Maria could enter the fray at Old Trafford as a replacement for Nani.
Son Heung-Min
3 of 5One of the top Asian footballers in the world at the moment is Son Heung-Min.
The South Korean forward, who is currently playing with Hamburg in the Bundesliga, is just 20 years old and has received attention from the Red Devils and Chelsea (via Daily Mail).
According to a recent report in The Independent, Tottenham have jumped in the race to sign the player who not only can line up as a forward, but as an attacking midfielder as well.
Having a player that can line up in different attacking positions like Son would be a great addition to Sir Alex Ferguson's squad.
Luka Modric
4 of 5Just a year ago, Luka Modric traded in his Tottenham kit for the one of Real Madrid.
Now after one season with Los Blancos, Modric reportedly wants a move back to the EPL with Manchester United (via Daily Mail).
Modric has not been a consistent starter under Jose Mourinho and with a new manager most likely coming into the Bernabeu next season, Modric's spot in the Real Madrid first team will become even more questionable.
With a playmaker like Modric roaming around the pitch of Old Trafford in United red, the Red Devils could become more dangerous in attack than they already are.
Radamel Falcao
5 of 5One of the most coveted players this summer will be Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao.
The goal-scoring mastermind should be on his way out of the Vicente Calderon Stadium this summer, and according to the Daily Mail, Manchester United have joined the list of potential suitors for the Colombian.
Also mentioned in the report is that Javier Hernandez would be sent to Atletico as part of the Falcao deal.
If that is the case, United would be trading in one of the most creative players in their squad for one of the most creative players in the world.
