There is a new commercial on television for the AT&T 3G Internet starring Bill Curtis and retired pound-for-pound boxer yet rumored to return to the ring, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Bill Curtis states that Mayweather Jr is undefeated and has the fastest hands that boxing has ever seen. Mayweather Jr. then throws a flurry towards the camera. (Most of us know Mayweather Jr. would never throw a flurry in an actual fight, for he only throws when he sees an opening and he does not waste any punches).

Curtis then challenges to log on and surf the net on his lap top so fast that it is faster than Mayweather Jr. throwing punches. Mayweather Jr. gets confused and worries about his speed in the ring.  Floyd believes he is no match for the speed of AT&T's 3G Internet speed and apparently loses his first match and is no longer undefeated. I guess even that slick shoulder roll was not able to work against Bill Curtis.

So this new commercial should indicate to us that Mayweather Jr. is definitely coming back to the ring soon.

Behind Mayweather is a hired actor playing Floyd's trainer with stereotypical grey hair. Where is trainer and uncle Roger Mayweather at? Was he not commercial friendly enough for this commercial?

But more importantly do you agree with the statement made in this commercial that Mayweather Jr. had the fastest hands that boxing has ever seen? I personally say Floyd is damn fast, but the fastest ever? No, I would argue that is not actually so.

Many legends often get brought up whenever you are talking about the fastest hands in boxing ever. Sugar Ray Leonard, Meldrick Taylor, Roy Jones Jr., just to name a few. Zab Judah even looked like he had more speed for the first round or two when he faced Mayweather. The most recent training footage of Manny Pacquiao looks like Pac Man has somehow increased his speed as well.

Floyd is the man, he has it all genius, defense, power, stamina, ring smarts, incredible speed, probably the most precise accurate puncher ever in the sport, but the fastest hands?  Hmm, let's take a poll and see what you guys think?
