Huge Update On Jeff Hardy Situation: Is He Really Leaving The WWE?
Yesterday I found out that Jeff Hardy was leaving the WWE. Ok, let me get this straight. Jeff Hardy, the man who is just now getting the push of his life, is now leaving the WWE?
Ok, well I am millionaire and have six houses across the US, Canada, Italy, and France. The word came out from wrestlinginc.com yesterday that he gave his notice. It was a complete lie.
And that was proven, as many say he is still going to be wrestling in upcoming events for the WWE. Also, the site even came out and said in another article, not linked to the previous one by the way, that they could not prove he gave the notice yet.

Meaning, they lied about it to get traffic to the site. I used to work for a wrestling news site, so I know how it works.
Hardy is in contact with the WWE on a contract right now, and he does not want to leave the WWE as many suggested. Nor is he burnt out or even has other interests to pursue.
The big deal is that the WWE is not offering him the contract he wants. This happened with Rey Mysterio a while back. They offered Rey a long term deal, a five-year deal that he could not get out of.
Rey did not want such a long deal, as he had no intentions for wrestling that long, full-time at least. They went back and forth until Rey and the WWE could get a deal they both liked.
The same is being done with Hardy. There is no word about how long the contract is, but the WWE is offering him a one-year deal for now until they can come to terms on a longer deal.
Jeff has not accepted anything yet, mainly because he just now got the offer.
They have not agreed on a long-term deal yet, but Jeff is rumored to be taking the one-year deal for now until the longer deal is agreed upon.
Rumor has it that Jeff is slated to lose the feud with his brother, only because it is a part of the storyline. Also they want to push Matt more.
Another rumored reason is that Jeff is wanting to take time off is that he has been losing so that he can take time off after the I Quit match.
Some have said that Jeff may be leaving for TNA Wrestling, but as of now TNA has said they have had no contact at all with Jeff Hardy.
If you remember, Jeff went to TNA for a few years and then went back to the WWE, where he has been doing extremely well.
The former World Champion could go to TNA, but he knows as much as we do that the WWE is the best place for him.
Despite how you feel about Jeff Hardy, he is a huge draw and is one of the biggest stars in the company right now. If he were to leave, it would be a huge blow to the WWE.
They can try and replace a talent like Jeff, but there is no one who has come along to the WWE who can compare to Jeff Hardy.
There have been many high-flyers and risk-takers if you will, but no one like Jeff Hardy. Some call him the best car crash wrestler in WWE history. People love car crashes, so that is one reason he has done well.
You just can't help but cheer for the guy either, and for people who don't like him it makes you sick. Because you still have to cheer for him in a way.
When I think of Jeff Hardy I think of a few things, mainly matches.
The Undertaker vs Jeff Hardy Ladder Match for the Undisputed Championship. The Umaga vs Jeff Hardy matches, the Steel Cage one was awesome. The Orton vs Jeff Hardy storyline, the TLC matches, and so on.
He has excited us for his entire career, and has proven his worth.
Remember, WWE Wrestlers have no rights really. They have no pension, no 401K, no insurance; they are living on their salary only. And some make a small amount on their merchandise.
So if Hardy wants to go to the doctor, he has to pay for it. And things like that cost money. A regular trip to the doctor can run up to 140 dollars without insurance.
Imagine surgeries. Sometimes the WWE will pay for those, but it depends on how often it is done on a particular person. It also depends on how big a star you are in the WWE.
So with that said, you have to know why Hardy is really looking into how much he can make from the WWE.
There is no word on a deal yet, however as mentioned earlier he does have a one-year deal on the table for now so that they can hurry up and sign him before his contract expires in about three months.
If they can get that one-year deal done, he can be involved in storylines for the WWE and wrestle for them until they figure out a longer deal they are both happy with.
Do not think he is leaving, Jeff would take a smaller amount from the WWE if needed. TNA could not compare to that deal anyway, so it is all money really. It is what makes the world turn you know.
Since TNA could not compare to any deal the WWE would give Jeff, he would have to want to go back there to actually sign with them.
He is staying in the WWE, it's just that they have to get a deal that both parties like.
