Final Four 2013: Updated Odds for Each Team to Win NCAA Title

Doug BrodessJun 8, 2018

The Final Four teams have arrived in the ATL after defeating many worthy opponents.

The Georgia Dome will be rockin' on Saturday night when Wichita State takes a run at the overall No. 1 seed Louisville, and Syracuse squares off against Michigan.

Here are the updated odds for each team to win the 2013 NCAA tournament.

Let's go!

Wichita State (20:1)

1 of 4

Who Wichita State Beat to Get Here:

Pitt (73-55)

Gonzaga (76-70)

La Salle (72-58)

Ohio State (70-66)

Leading Scorer: Cleanthony Early (13.7 PPG)

Leading Rebounder: Carl Hall (6.9 RPG)

Leading Playmaker: Malcolm Armstead (3.9 APG)

Shockers head coach Gregg Marshall genuinely has his team believing that, on any given night, it can play with anyone.

It's a long shot, but if WSU can take care of the ball on offense and limit penetration in the lane on defense, the Shockers could be right in there in the semifinal game against Louisville.

Syracuse (5:1)

2 of 4

Who Syracuse Beat to Get Here:

Montana (81-34)

Cal (66-60)

Indiana (61-50)

Marquette (70-39)

Leading Scorer: C.J. Fair  (14.3 PPG)

Leading Rebounder: C.J. Fair (7.0 RPG)

Leading Playmaker:  (Michael Carter-Williams (7.4 APG)

If the Orange can hold the Wolverines to under 30 percent shooting and 50 points (as they have their first four March Madness opponents), Syracuse is going to be tough as nails to beat.

SU's length and size could cause Michigan trouble on the glass at both ends of the court.

Michigan (4:1)

3 of 4

Who Michigan Beat to Get Here:

South Dakota State (71-56)

VCU (78-53)

Kansas (87-85 OT)

Florida (79-59)

Leading Scorer: Trey Burke (18.8 PPG)

Leading Rebounder: Mitch McGary (5.5 RPG)

Leading Playmaker: Trey Burke (6.8 APG)

Michigan continues to be an explosive offensive team, but the Wolverines have discovered that they can do more than exchange buckets with their opponents. Coach John Beilein has the athletes to play some pretty stingy defense.

McGary's postseason emergence as a double-double dude will be tested in the Big Blue's national semifinal against Syracuse.

Louisville (2:1)

4 of 4

Who Louisville Beat to Get Here:

North Carolina A&T (79-48)

Colorado State (82-56)

Oregon (77-69)

Duke (85-63)

Leading Scorer: Russ Smith  (18.9 PPG)

Leading Rebounder: Gorgui Dieng (9.5 RPG)

Leading Playmaker: Peyton Siva (5.9 APG)

The Cardinals are the favorites to win it all in the ATL.

They are shooting 55 percent from the field in March Madness, 10 percent better than they did in the regular season.

Louisville goes into Saturday's national semifinal game against Wichita State riding a 14-game winning streak that dates back to February 14.
