Fergie: The Hero Or Villian
If Manchester United win the league or champions league this year, this result is lost in the history of the FA cup and will not be mentioned again.
If Manchester United fail to win a trophy this result will be seen as the downfall of a promising season that turned sour.
As a Liverpool supporter I was overjoyed to see the Toffee's knock out United, and I was overjoyed to see Ferguson losing his temper on the sideline when they did'nt get a quite blatant penalty. I was overjoyed to see them walking off with heads down as they look to try and focus on Portsmouth on Wednesday in a game that many believe is more important for the club.

I feel some sympathy for the supporters who paid top dollar for a ticket for the semifinal only to turn up and watch their reserve team play.
The media and Everton's view however was that United were being disrespectful to the great competition. This seems laughable to me.
Any Manager in their right mind who has important games coming up and looks at a pitch so poor like the one Sunday park pitches cut up less will rest players for monumental games coming up within weeks.
Everton seemed to be shocked and very annoyed for some reason, even though the team they picked was practically the strongest team they could have played only tied 0-0 with " United Reserves" and should have conceded one of the most blatant penalties I have seen not given at Wembley. If Everton play like this against Chelsea it will be a worse game to come than last years bore.
Berbatov I thought was a disgrace, never mind him costing £32 million. I would expect any player from Sunday Park to Premiership to take a better penalty than that. He let the youngsters that played pretty well down, he let the supporters down.
This is the first piece of non bias against United I have written , I hope it will be my last.
