Robbie Cano Bursts Out of the Gate
This offseason many fans were disgusted with the way Robinson Cano performed last season, and some were ready to trade him away. People thought he was being lazy and his drop in statistics last season drew a lot of fans attention. During the offseason, Cano worked hard with Kevin Long and it looks like it paid off.

We saw him start to turn it around toward the end of last season. He picked up 19 hits in his final 42 at-bats of the season. He is now 17-42 (.405) so far this season and it looks like he is answering the critics. We all know the amount of talent Cano has, but the problem was people didn’t think he was trying his best.
Cano is considered year after year as a batting title contender, and maybe this will be the year he gets it. I’m a big fan of Cano, so I’m really glad to see him playing so well. I expect big things from him this season, and so far so good.
