Bills Wave Overdue Goodbye To Peters
When I saw that Jason Peters was no longer a Buffalo Bill, I cried.
Tears of joy gushed from my eyes as I relived the horrible sacks Peters gave up.
Peters in no way deserved to be a Pro Bowler if you looked just at him during the games.
Constantly, defensive ends would just run around the 6' 4" 340 lb. tackle on the left side.
Even when the other side of the line gave up a sack, replays showed that if the play went on for another two seconds, it would have been Peters' man getting the sack.
The Bills actually did get a great deal for Peters. The Bills now have an extra first rounder which might allow them to take the DE they need at 11 and maybe pick up Oklahoma State TE Brandon Pettigrew or an OL at 28.
The Bills could also bundle up the two first rounder to go up and get a OT like Andre Smith out of Alabama, Eugene Monroe out of UVA, or Jason Smith out of Baylor. I would hope the latter doesn't occur, but hey, they are the Buffalo Bills.
I do hope that the added picks help sure up the offensive line and defensive line of the Bills, but one really never knows. All I can say is that it is about time Jason Peters is no longer a Buffalo Bill.
Woo-Hoo!
