Randy Orton's Destiny Awaits: The Downfall of Triple H and His Ego

Daniel DeRoccoApr 17, 2009

Backlash is just around the corner for us to witness who will walk out as the WWE champ. Mr. Backstage Politics always has an issue of putting over people and Orton's character is seen as a coward having his two lackeys do his dirty work for him.

Batista, always whining and complaining to be in the world title picture, and Shane McMahon obsessed with power.

Let me break it down for you people why everything in place will happen at backlash. First off it started with Batista and Orton feuding back in November of 2008. Orton had just returned to the ring from his collarbone injury and his presence alone was wanting the fans more of him. Batista was arguing about being better than Orton.

During this time Orton was prospecting younger talents to make his own group called Legacy. Having taking out DiBiase prior, Orton then would try to one up Cody Rhodes. Going into Survivor Series Orton was captain of a team with Rhodes on that team being the two sole survivors beating out team Batista.

After Survivor SeriesOrton noticed something from Rhodes, and Manu while acquiring Sim Snuka as well, that all these second and third generation superstars have collective potential. Orton and his accomplices took the first step by defeating his former evolution stablemates Triple H and Batista to realize the true potential that they have.

Having lost to Batista at Armageddonin a grudge match Orton took Batista out of commission the next night on Rawby punting him in the skull.

Now with Batista out of the picture Orton started to focus on his group legacy to see who is strong and who is weak. Manu was the first to go followed by Snuka being the weak links leaving Rhodes as last man to stand by Orton's side.

Manu and Snuka were seeking revenge on Orton for kicking them to the curb. Then Ted DiBiase makes his return but aligns himself with Orton and Rhodes taking out the trash. Orton has a confrontation with the Vince McMahon and punts him in the head in retaliation of being fired for Stephanie slapping him.

The Royal Rumble comes and Randy Orton is the last man standing last eliminating Triple H in victory celebrating with Rhodes and DiBiase.

Shane McMahon comes into play to avenge his father for Orton kicking Vince in the head. Orton and Shane have a no holds barred match at No Way Out with Orton walking out the victor.

The next on Raw Shane challenged Orton to an unsanctioned fight resulted in Orton punting Shane in the head. Out comes Stephanie to check on Shane then gets RKO'd then Mr. Backstage Politics comes to attend to his wife.

Both Orton and Backstage Politics(Triple H) were each upping one another. Triple H invading Orton's home then taking out Rhodes in a steel cage. Orton DDT'd Stephanie and kissed her while Backstage politics was handcuffed watching then getting struck by his own trusty weapon the sledgehammer.

At WreslteMania 25, Backstage Politics of course won with an anti-climatic ending using the seldgehammer cheating to beat Orton. Always the hero winning the battle but the war is not over.

The following night on Raw Orton beat the hell out of Mr. McMahon, then out to the rescue of course Shane-O, and Triple H battling legacy. In shocking return to everyone The Animal Batista makes his return cleaning house.

The draft came to shake things up again and as everyone saw Backstage Politics was drafted to Raw. Legacy fought Trips, Batista, and Shane-O and Trips got the win obviously while Batista and Shane could not co-exist brawling for the chance at Orton one on one.

Next week Orton is looking to finish Backstage Politics off to gain the momentum going into Backlash.

There are lot of people who don't think Batista will turn on Trips. I understand that and I accept the fact it possibly won't be Batista but could be Shane or Stephanie. The reason I feel Batista would turn is he wants Orton all to himself because he does not give a rat's ass about Trips or the McMahons.

Batista only cares for himself being self-centered, jealous and an obsessed hot-headed egomaniac.

So then Batista could most likely in my perspective turn due to not giving a crap but one thing: Randy Orton. Batista would be like WTF to hell with Trips and Shane attack them both and just walk out of the match turning on his back on them. Now in Shane's case it's very different.

Shane is the prodigal son hiding the fact that all the McMahon's are power hungry, maniacal corrupt people who want everything their way. Shane wants the company one day and this is his chance. Turn on Trips because Shane himself has more power, resources and money then everyone else.

Shane-O is just waiting to take over the company and Backstage politics being the fall guy for being a detriment to all McMahons.

Now with Stephanie she could aslo possibly be another traitor. Stehpanie's turn would be like this: Trips you just stood there, watching him DDT me and kiss me of all problems. You call yourself a man, you did nothing to help me as I lay there helpless.

A real man would have of all heroes broke free and saved the damsel in distress. I'm disgusted with you, you never gave a damn about me you only cared about that stupid title. She would come out while Batista and Shane are taken out and she gives Trips a sledgehammer.

Yes that's right a seldgehammer the strength of Trips which in this case would be his downfall also his weakness. Stephanie would then hand Trips it then would say wait no hold on give me it then slap him allowing Orton to hit the RKO and get the pinfall. Orton becomes the new WWE champion and Stephanie reveals to everyone to be sided with Legacy.

Backstage politics and his ego will go out with a bang. Something has got to give everyone should keep that in mind. Ambition, Pride, Greed, and Obsession are the four keys to the ironic downplay of Triple H.

Ambition being blinded by his own denial of fate and convincing himself he is going to get the job done when in truth he is in a state of narcissism trying to tell his mind I'm the best at what I do making Trips an egomaniac.

Pride having to thrive on competition. When someone becomes a threat he either befriends them or takes them out fearing of title contention. Example Shawn Michaels, Trips befriend him because everyone knows HBK can beat Trips. Being as prideful as Trips is he is conceited and full of himself about being that good.

Greed when Orton won the World Heavyweight Title at the age twenty-four Trips took Orton because of the jealousy he had against Orton. Trips then soon turned on Orton for the point of evolution always being about Trips and the damn title.

Obsession the clear motive to only want the World Title to himself formed the group to protect him from competition. Having lackeys he brought in to lead them to obey him and secure the title on him as long as they could until ultimately it blew up in Trips face for being coward.

Orton was taught by Trips to do every nasty dirty thing anyone can do to get on top. Orton himself is using what Trips taught him against him having Orton making his own group only this time is the leader.

The ultimate downfall for Backstage Politics is himself. Trips taught Orton to be what he is today and the ironic part is Batista is the same way having been in Evolution. The teachings he brought upon Orton and Batista is going to be used against him.

As big as an egomaniac Trips is Batista and him cannot coexist and something will go out in a fiery blaze of glory.

I think I explained enough for now. What are your thoughts and what do you believe will happen at Backlash?
