Dylan Thompson, 4-Star Prospect, Commits to Buckeyes
Urban Meyer has put an emphasis on defensive line recruiting throughout his past two classes at Ohio State. He picked up another D-line commitment on Saturday, as Dylan Thompson gave his word to the Buckeyes while on an unofficial visit:
"Four-star DL Dylan Thompson of Chicago becomes Urban Meyer's 5th commit in the 2014 class. 11w.rs/14kwj0K

"
Thompson is a 6’5", 270-pound prospect from Lombard, Illinois, and is considered a 4-star prospect, according to 247Sports' composite rankings.
With offers already from schools like Arkansas, Clemson, Illinois and Missouri, Ohio State has to feel good about getting its hands on a high-motor guy.
Though Thompson is listed as a defensive end, it wouldn’t surprise many if he were to slide over sometime during his career and move to tackle. He has the frame, and he already moves well for the size that he’s at. By adding a bit more weight, the sky could be the limit if defensive tackle was in his plans.
This 2014 class is shaping up to be a good one more Coach Meyer and Ohio State. With five recruits already on board, there’s a plethora of other defensive talent they are pursuing. April could be a big month in recruiting, with other big-time prospects set to be on campus.
With spring football under way and recruiting starting to heat up, it’s safe to say that college football is back!
