Some Friday Funnies with Allsports

I thought today I would share some videos on the lighter side. Sports on the web are going full speed ahead and other than a couple of things there is not much to talk about yet. The Toronto Blue Jays are doing well with a record of 7-3, but they have only played 10 games. That’s like an NFL team having a great season at 1-0.

All the first round match ups in the NHL playoffs have had one game and there are some things that allsports thinks are worth mentioning.

The San Jose Sharks lost home ice advantage to the Ducks last night, losing 3-0. They carried the play but could not find the back of the net. Anaheim did a good job of taking away their time and space but if the Sharks had any luck they would have won the game. The Sharks will be squeezing the sticks a little tighter now because the last thing the franchise needs is another early playoff exit.

Henrik Lundqvist went into Washington and stoned the capitals. Theodore was ordinary as the Rangers took home ice away from the Capitals winning 4-3.

New Jersey outplayed the Carolina Hurricanes with a convincing 4-1 win. The Devils did not even need any heroics from Martin Brodeur.

Chicago’s overtime winner against Calgary looked to me like goal tender interference and should not have counted.
