April Belongs to Cristian Guzman
Is anyone paying attention to Cristian Guzman? Now that the Nats got their first win of the season last night, against the Philadelphia Phillies, there’s enough reason to check for a guy who, if he played for the New York Mets or St. Louis Cardinals, would be getting considerable attention in the national media.
Adam Dunn has clearly been the ray of hope for a Nats offense that can score runs but has zero pitching support. April has been kind to Guzman, as he has compiled a formidable line for hitting efficiency in the first half of the month.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Seven straight games with a hit, and six of those contests with at least two. Eight runs scored against six strikeouts, a .515 batting average, and the same night he pulled a hamstring against the Phillies on Apr. 13, he had a 5-for-5 night with two runs scored and a stolen base.
He was an All-Star last year, and if by some miraculous turn the Nationals can right the ship on this season, Guzman may just be a legitimate contender for N.L. MVP.
