Momma Always Said Pro Wrestling Is Like a Box Of Chocolates...

.If you know movies, you know the famous saying "Momma always said life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get." from the Academy Award Winning movie Forrest Gump.

Personally, it is one of my favorite movies of all time. And of course being from Alabama, it has a special part in my hearts. Of course to let you know, there is no such town called Greenbo, AL. Sorry to disappoint you.

But this saying from Forrest Gump got me to thinking, I know life is like a box of chocolates, but so is pro wrestling. Think about it, there is a variety of things we can see in wrestling.

Looking back on its history, we have see some crazy things. And what is so great is about it, is every week you never know what your gonna see next.

We have experienced people get run over, a limo blown up with a man inside of it, a superhero, a rapper, a one legged wrestler, midget wrestling, a fat man dancing in a thong, women scantily dressed, bikini contests, bra and panties matches, a wrestling ring on fire, a live sex scene, and a men flying down from the rafters or jumping off ladders from upwards of 30 feet.

Think about all of that.

Sure wrestling is scripted, we all know that what we are seeing in segments or promos that were written out, but what is so great is they still surprise us all the time.

We think the WWE or others cannot top what they did before, but they continue to shock us.

It is what keeps us coming back every week, and buying the Pay-per-views.

We want to see something new and innovative.  If we don't see it one week, we will still come back to see if they do the next week, or the week after.

And of course we just HAVE to come back every week. Why? Because, what if we are not there when the big event happens? Then we miss it, and feel horrible because we did.

Sure we can go to WWE.com to see pics of the big event or videos of it. We can ask our friends, or family.

We can go to youtube.com and see it. But nothing is like seeing it live. Of course being there is even better, but if not, then next best thing is watching it live on your TV.

We have to keep coming back.

It is like an addiction. Something we have to keep going back to again, and again...and again. The variety of possibilities are endless, so it is not like they are restricted in clever ideas for us fans to see.

Sure, you can read spoilers to find out the winners, but watching it is the best thing. You have the chance to see something amazing instead of reading what happened.

Wrestling is like a box of chocolates, you just neve know what your gonna see next.
