Stephen Ireland calls for his teammates to toughen up while Mark Hughes tells Robinho to start playing like Shaun. Will Robinho be rushed back into the side after being dropped to the bench for the embarrassing Fulham show?.

As stated so many times, unfortunately,  Nigel De Jong is cup-tied, and Vincent Kompany and Wayne Bridge are carrying hamstring injuries.

Hamburg

Defenders Collin Benjamin and Guy Demel will miss the game as both have thigh injuries. It was reported that they did not travel with the Hamburg squad.

Captain David Jarolim is available again after missing the 1-0 defeat to Stuttgart during the weekend through suspension.

Prediction: If City can get it right, 3-0

One thing is for sure, Mark Hughes should be sacked immediately should Manchester City fail to beat Hamburg at home.

After the German media branded us arrogant for no valid reason, I believe Hamburg deserve egg in their faces, so lets hope Mark Hughes can inject a little pride back into this battle.
