1st Round-1st pick- John Tavares a very talented player who has a very good chance of going first round is wanted by almost every team in the NHL. but the most interested teams are New York Islanders who have the 1st pick and the Toronto maple leafs who have the 7th pick, since islanders have a much better chance of getting Tavares then the leafs do. the new leafs GM Brian Burke, who is one of the best GM's in the league is going to try and make a trade as he said in a press conference after the draft lottery. but a expected 2nd choice pick victor Hedman is making a name for him self being born is Sweden with two brothers one playing for the Washington caps and one playing in Nice,France. he is the best defender in the draft and the islanders need a little bit of everything on their team so i wouldn't be surprised if the did go for Hedman instead of Tavares. 3rd choice is a Canadian from Brampton named Matt Duchene he is expected to got to the avalanche i do not see him going first overall possibly 2nd but the lightning do not need a center if they did they would probably go with Tavares then him. I hope you liked the article of the 3! first mock picks of the nhl draft please post commpents
