WHAT RAW GAINS

Raw gains Triple H, who is ultimately a prime time candidate along with John Cena. Triple H has main evented Wrestlemania after Wrestlemania and is in a major feud with John Cena at the moment.

The Big Show is always a threat for the Championship, and with names like Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, The Miz, The Brian Kendrick, along with Kofi Kingston and William Regal, it looks like the United States Champion may be weighing a little heavier on MVP's shoulders as of now.

The odd superstar out would be Festus, but this could be very interesting. Biscuits and Gravy is no more. So lets just say this, once the ring bell rings, Festus has no mediator in between him and his opponent. Meaning, nobody is holding Festus back anymore. This could be very good for Festus!

As for Chavo Guerrero. Chavo Guerrero on Raw is simple. He is there to push Vickie Guerrero's wheelchair around. That's obvious! However I wouldn't mind seeing a Chavo Guerrero/The Brian Kendrick matchup. Unlikely though!

WHAT RAW LOSES

Chris Jericho is money on the mic. In fact, without his promo skills he probably wouldn't be the WWE Slammy Award Winner for Superstar of the Year in 2008. Raw also loses credibility seeing as for the first time Money in the Bank is now on Smackdown (not counting Edge holding it for one day on Smackdown). Raw losing Kane to Smackdown may not be good for Raw, but Raw's loss, is Smackdown's Gain!

SMACKDOWN GAINS

Smackdown gains matchup credibility. They gain Chris Jericho, Kane, Rey Mysterio, and CM Punk to the Main Event picture. Edge has many fresh faces to showdown with on his brand of Smackdown.

However, Edge truly has to carry the blue brand as of now. Smackdown does gain a few interesting things. Charlie Haas on Smackdown could lead to a potential tag team re-reunion, of the World's Greatest Tag Team.

With Kane on Smackdown we have a chance of seeing the Brothers of Destruction. Cryme Tyme is also on Smackdown, along with John Morrison. There may not be a big main event picture, but the title pictures will always be interesting.

Plus you can't forget the 7 foot Punjabi Playboy, The Great Khali, or the Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy.

SMACKDOWN LOSES

A lot of credibility was lost on the Blue Brand in the draft. They lost their World Champion, who main evented this year's Wrestlemania for the Blue Brand representing Smackdown and defending the championship.

They lose good wrestling in the Colons. They lose potential in Mr. Kennedy, MVP, The Brian Kendrick, Hurricane Helms, and Matt Hardy. But Smackdown is looking on the upside. They got a young roster, and it could pull out potential matchups off the galore.

ECW GAINS

The only gain that ECW made this year was keeping Christian in the Land of Extreme. Christian and Finlay are the only main eventing faces on the roster in ECW. Vladimir Kozlov, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry are the only threats those two have, minus each other.

However, Finlay is separated from Hornswoggle, so it may be just wrestling now. Which should be interesting. Evan Bourne has more opponents to challenge now, as Hurricane Helms will be joining him in the land of extreme, as well as Zack Ryder. Who may be able to show off his talents!

Another interesting gain for ECW is DH Smith, and Natalya. Natalya has been on ECW the past few months with her boyfriend Tyson Kidd. But it should be interesting to note, DH Smith hasn't been on television in months, but it could be a new stable in the WWE in the Land of Extreme by the name of New Hart Foundation. That should be very interesting.

ECW LOSES

ECW loses Miz and Morrison who carried a lot of the ratings by themselves. Whether you were a Miz-fit or a Mo-Fo, those two carried a lot of the ratings on ECW by themselves since Matt Hardy left to go to the Blue Brand.

Other Notes

Tag team wrestling in the WWE seems to be near the end, by the looks of it. Primo and Carlito are on Raw with only one other visible tag team, that being Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. Smackdown has Cryme Tyme, but I don't see them feuding with the Colons. Now Jesse and Festus are separated.

Which I think could be good for both of them. Jesse is a very talented kid who can wrestle his butt off. Son of Terry Gordy from the Freebirds he's always a secondary threat to join a certain Legacy, but who am I to start rumors!

Another tag team group separated by the draft is Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Both of these guys have loads of potential and the WWE wouldn't have given them the Tag Team titles if they didn't see that in the first place. However, if this is a move to release one of these wrestlers, its gonna hurt both of them.

Ezekiel Jackson is separated from The Brian Kendrick. I don't know how to look at this. With The Brian Kendrick's gimmick, I think he is gonna be very scared without his enforcer, the Big Zeke! With the correct push, Ezekiel Jackson could soon become a threat in the WWE such as Mike Knox was given just by his work with Finlay!
