Wishing the Redskins Could Fire Dan "The Fan"
I have been a Redskins fan since birth, and perhaps even before.
My first game was at RFK in utero; my mom was pregnant with my twin brother and I as she attended that game against the Giants.
Heck, my first official Christmas present was a pair of Redskin PJ's, so my love is to the core.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So there is nothing that frustrates me more than to think about the last 17 years, in which Washington has had no Super Bowl victories or even appearances. It seems like a lifetime ago that they were winners.
While he hasn't been in Washington for all of those 17 years, Daniel Snyder, or Dan "The Fan," has been a thorn in the side of the 'Skins and their fans for a majority of the period, and that's far too long.
I respect his self-made millionaire status and that he is also a long-time (if not life-long) Washington fan, but what I've seen him turn the Redskins into sickens me.
He has basically taken the "George Steinbrenner approach" to ownership and tried to buy himself a championship team. He has conducted poor draft after poor draft and OK'd bad trade after bad trade.
Yet he continues to run the team, unpunished for his deeds. He has gone through coach after coach and even brought back a Hall of Fame coach, who, as much as I hate to say it, seemed past his prime.
At what point can we fans say "enough is enough"?
It is time for Dan Snyder to go away. We need a responsible owner who won't drop a player or coach at the drop of a hat because there is a seemingly better one on the horizon.
Washington has become the town where once-great players come to collect Snyder's money and die. Bruce Smith and Jason Taylor are just two that come to mind right away.
How can the man who has the greatest influence on a team and almost single-handedly is responsible for its diminished standing be allowed to stick around?
It is truly a shame that we fans can't just "fire" him and look for an owner who knows what they are doing, or at the very least, can hire and delegate to those that do.
