Can You Guess Who I Am? Version Three
Do to the positive response I've received so far with these "Who am I?" games, I've decided to continue these as long as I can.
Mike D. has asked me to put up three to five per day, I'll try to get two to three. But from now on, instead of boosting my article count, I will be editing this article to add a new "Who Am I?"
So just go to my profile page, and click on this article for daily updates.
Let me lay down the ground rules for those that haven't played:
- I will give you five clues pertaining to a certain MMA fighter. This man can be active or retired. I'd like for you to read each clue, and really run through your mental encyclopedia before moving on to the next clue.
- When you think you have the answer, post it in the comments section and tell me which clue gave it away. Please ignore the other comments when doing this as to avoid cheating or extra help.
- No cheating. No wikipedia, sherdog, or any other forms of cheating. I want you to use your brain. If you don't know, just say you don't know. Don't be ashamed, I'm trying to stump you.
Clue 1
I weigh in at 170 pounds. My height is 5'9 and I am currently in my 30s.
Clue 2
I have many fans, but I also have a lot of haters. And with my very average record of 13-10, you can understand why.
Clue 3
I have fought a who's who of MMA legends. Matt Lindland, Evan Tanner, Dave Menne, Kaz Misaki and one of the Shamrock brothers are all listed on my record.
Clue 4
I am a former UFC fighter, recording just three wins in my eight fights with the organization. The last time I won in the octagon was in 2002, on the same card Tim Sylvia made his UFC debut. I KO'd Dave Menne that night.
Clue 5
My popularity is the only reason I will be fighting at Strikeforce:Lawler vs Shields, because the last time I fought in Strikeforce, I tested positive for steroids after the fight. Steroids that clearly didn't help me.
