Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Is His Time at PSG Coming to an End?

Christopher AlmerasJun 8, 2018

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the top players in the game. He has proven it throughout his first season at PSG. With his impressive scoring ratio and the squad PSG have been assembly around him, many are excited to see what he can accomplish going forward.

The problem is there may not be another year in Paris for the mercurial striker. There are many reports linking Ibrahimovic with a move from PSG. Eurosport UK is reporting a potential return to Juventus, while other outlets have Bayern Munich (Metro) and Manchester United (Sports Bulletin) as potential destinations.

Change of scenery is nothing new for Ibrahimovic. He has made multiple moves in his career making stops at many top clubs in the process.

It was this history of change that led people to question whether Ibra was really sold on transferring to PSG when the news broke last summer. Getting Ibrahimovic to buy into the project in process at PSG was the million dollar question regarding his transfer.

With Ibra's career beginning to wind down, his window of opportunity for achieving Champions League glory is closing with it. His desire to add this to his accomplishments is bound to figure into any decisions he makes regarding his future. If he feels that PSG is still a ways off from being able to be a contender on that level, he may look to force a move to where his opportunity is greater.

Ibra has seemed disinterested at times on the pitch for PSG. His ability to seemingly turn it on when needed to rescue points for PSG has many fans questioning how committed he really is to the club. This has led to some recent public comments directed at PSG fans from Zlatan.
