Let's Get Supplemental, Part 1 of 4

Will HowardApr 15, 2009

The first victim of the 2009 Supplemental draft turned out to be none other than Ken Kennedy. With his career in limbo right now, one can only imagine what might become of him on Monday nights. SMACKDOWN TO RAW

The second selection is the muscle from Cryme Tyme, Shad Gaspard. A 6'6 270 pounder with agility and power leaves his best friend for Friday nights and a possible full fledged heel turn, while JTG is expected to be released here shortly. RAW TO SMACKDOWN

The third pick needs another diva for the Smackdown roster, this time the former Rated R wedding planner turned manager of DJ Gabriel, Alicia Fox. I'm not quite sure about this pick, but time will tell as to what she gets done back on Friday nights. ECW TO SMACKDOWN

Speaking of returning to one's former brand. Primo Colon, one half of the unified tag team champions Dos Colons (two Colons) returns to Monday nights, splitting the promising brother team in half. SMACKDOWN TO RAW

Smackdown lands Mike Knox, a guy who I really like from the Raw roster. 6'5, 255 pounds of vicious, viking-like intensity, Knox should find many beasts on Smackdown to run with this buffalo sized talent. RAW TO SMACKDOWN

Notes from Will

Through the first five picks, Knox and Shad Gaspard have clearly set the bar for Smackdown. Alicia Fox is nice if she's picked up some wrestling skills on ECW, otherwise she's just another backstage interviewer with a nice butt. Nice butts don't equal good wrestling though.

No picks for ECW so far, Ken Kennedy and Primo were kind of shockers to me, and no sign of John Morrison on Smackdown yet.

It's sad that JTG is probably getting released, he was a fun guy to watch, but things do have to change, so if he is released, I wish him the best.

Ok, back to the draft—I TOLD EVERYONE SO—Ekezial Jackson lands in the "Land of Extreme." Welcome to your push Ezekial Jackson, welcome to mediocrity Brian Kendrick.

The big bear has found his way to ECW. He's the perfect fit for ECW, and I love this pick.

That's all for part one, be sure to catch parts two, three, and the big wrap up.
