Former Real Madrid and Spain striker Emilio Butragueño has hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with Real Madrid despite rumored interest in a return to Manchester United (via ESPN FC).

Ronaldo, 28, joined Real from United in a world-record £80 million transfer in 2009. His contract expires in 2015 and media speculation has linked him with a move back to Old Trafford.

Butragueño, 49, now serves as a director for Real Madrid. He told reporters: “Cristiano is under contract and we are very happy with him. We are delighted he is at Madrid because he is a fantastic professional, and very ambitious in a positive way."

Wayne Rooney Tells Teammates He Could Leave Manchester United?

Wayne Rooney has told teammates he could leave Manchester United in the summer, according to a Goal.com exclusive.

According to the report, Rooney has doubted his place with the team since before he was dropped for United's recent Champions League match against Real Madrid. He reportedly told teammates during an international break in February that he could leave the club this summer.

United and manager Sir Alex Ferguson have denied Rooney will leave.

Rooney, 27, joined United from Everton in 2004. His contract expires in 2015.

Antonio Conte Would Welcome Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Juventus?

Juventus manager Antonio Conte says he would "love to" coach Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to a Swedish report cited by Football Italia.

The 31-year-old Sweden international joined Paris Saint-Germain from AC Milan last summer. The forward played for Juventus from 2004-06 before joining Inter Milan.

Conte reportedly told Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet: “Ibra is an extraordinary player. He is a true champion. Sure, I'd love to (be his coach). There few players as decisive as he is in world football.”

Jose Mourinho Already Agreed to Leave Real Madrid This Summer?

Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid signed an agreement in December to ensure Mourinho leaves the club this summer, according to Spanish reports cited by Metro.

Media speculation has linked Mourinho, 50, with Manchester United following his restrained reaction to knocking United out of the UEFA Champions League last week. He has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City among others.

Mourinho joined Real in 2010 after leading Inter Milan to the Champions League title.

Obafemi Martins Buys out Contract, Set to Join Seattle Sounders from Levante

Levante have revealed that Obafemi Martins paid the buyout clause in his contract Monday. Martins is now expected to join the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer (via ESPN FC).

Martins, a 28-year-old Nigerian international forward, has scored seven goals in 21 league appearances this season. He told Levante in February that he wanted to join the Sounders. Levante responded by saying no player could leave unless the fee in any release clause was met.

The buyout clause was thought to be €3 million. In a statement, Levante said:
