Liverpool Transfer Rumors: The Reds Need to Push for Lucas Biglia

Liverpool is near the top of the English Premier League standings, so the Reds should take a chance on bringing in Lucas Biglia to change things up.

Mike Dawes of the Daily Mail reports that the Reds are interested in the playmaker from Argentina. Dawes also says that Biglia could be available for a discounted rate of around £4.5 million. 

If that is the case, the Reds should jump at the bargain and complete the transfer.

The Anderlecht player is talented, but his club is looking to get rid of him. It doesn't matter if they have to give a discount to another club, and Liverpool could be a great match.

The 27-year-old has three Belgian Pro League titles and could help add depth to the team's midfield depth.

He's not a prolific scorer, but he won't be expected to be one at that position. However, he can be a playmaker on defense.

Biglia isn't one to take out players with an aggressive play, but he will play the ball. That's what should appeal to any team looking at taking a chance on the talented midfielder.
