EA Sports FIFA 13 Champions League Round of 16 Week 4 Predictions

Mikhail TurnerJun 2, 2018

We're in the last set of second-leg matchups for the Round of 16 and we'll again go through some simulated predictions from FIFA 13.

The simulations for the first week can be found here, the second week can be found here and the third week can be found here.

Again, FIFA 13's Matchday feature will not play a part in the simulations and we'll put out the expected starting lineup for each side (via EASports).

Here's the FIFA 13 predictions for this second set of Round of 16 second-leg matches.

Schalke vs. Galatasaray

1 of 4

Schalke starting lineup: Timo Hildebrand; Atsuto Uchida, Benedikt Howedes, Joel Matip, Christian Fuchs; Roman Neustadter, Jermaine Jones; Jefferson Farfan, Julian Draxler, Michel Bastos; Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Galatasaray starting lineup: Fernando Muslera; Sabri Sarioglu, Semih Kaya, Dany Nounkeu, Albert Riera; Hamit Altintop, Selcuk Inan, Felipe Melo, Wesley Sneijder; Burak Yilmaz, Didier Drogba

Scoreline: 4-0

Possession: 57-43

Shots (on goal): 7 (5)-3 (2)

Standout performers: Huntelaar, Draxler, Matip

The tie was effectively finished at halftime with Schalke up 3-0.

Schalke were in complete control throughout and added a fourth at the end of time.

The real life Schalke side will definitely be on a high after their derby win over Borussia Dortmund, so they may just put Galatasaray to the sword.

Barcelona vs. AC Milan

2 of 4

Barcelona starting lineup: Victor Valdes; Dani Alves, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba; Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Lionel Messi, Cristian Tello

AC Milan starting lineup: Christian Abbiati; Ignazio Abate, Cristian Zapata, Philippe Mexes, Kevin Constant; Massimo Ambrosini, Riccardo Montolivo, Sulley Muntari; Kevin Prince-Boateng, Robinho, Stephan El Shaarawy

Scoreline: 1-1

Possession: 62-38

Shots (on goal): 8 (7)-3 (2)

Standout performers: Messi, Iniesta, Robinho

AC Milan struck first and Barcelona had to wait until the final minutes to hit back despite dominating.

This scoreline would take Barcelona through in the simulated results, but is far from good enough in real life.

We'll see what happens on Tuesday.

Malaga vs. Porto

3 of 4

Malaga starting lineup: Willy Caballero; Jesus Gamez, Weligton, Martin Demichelis, Vitorino Antunes; Manuel Iturra, Martin Demichelis; Joaquin, Isco, Portillo; Javier Saviola

Porto starting lineup: Helton; Danilo, Nicolas Otamendi, Maicon, Alex Sandro; Joao Moutinho, Fernando, Lucho Gonzalez; Marat Izmailov, Jackson Martinez, James Rodriguez

Scoreline: 2-0

Possession: 58-42

Shots (on goal): 9 (5)-3 (1)

Standout performers: Isco, Weligton, Gamez

Malaga came alive in the second half to power away and end the tie.

As the statistics show, the Spanish side was on top for much of the game.

The 2-0 scoreline would help them progress in real life as it has in the simulation.

Bayern Munich vs. Arsenal

4 of 4

Bayern Munich starting Lineup; Manuel Neuer; Philippe Lahm, Daniel Van Buyten, Dante, David Alaba; Javi Martinez, Luiz Gustavo; Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos, Franck Ribery; Mario Mandzukic

Arsenal starting lineup: Wojciech Szczesny; Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Thomas Vermaelen; Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby; Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla; Olivier Giroud

Scoreline: 0-0

Possession: 48-52

Shots (on goal): 7 (4)-4 (2)

Standout performers: Dante, Szczesny, Gustavo

It was a stalemate between these sides, which means that Bayern progresses in the simulated ties.

This result may be unlikely when the two sides meet in real life but the winner of the tie will still be the same.
