Thank God for the Octagon Girls

In every fighting sport, you have to have good-looking girls—it's a must—and the UFC has some of the most beautiful octagon girls going in MMA.

I'm trying something new here and dedicating two new articles to the UFC Octagon girls. We talk about the fighters, but since the first day I was here, I never saw an article about those girls.

What I want to do is a small biography about the four beauties that walk around the octagon at every UFC event, and work very hard to look good.

Edith Labelle

Edith's first appearance in a UFC event was at UFC 83. The first event in Montreal also needed an Octagon girl that came from Montreal, right?

She is 25 years old and began modeling at a young age. She was a ring card girl for some smaller MMA organizations back in Canada while modeling at the same time. She was actually a model for different posters of a strip club in Montreal.

When the UFC came to Montreal, she began her journey as an Octagon girl.

She has been a fan of the UFC for quite some time, so it was a dream come true when she was approached to work for the UFC.

Rachelle Leah

Okay, I know Rachelle is not an Octagon girl anymore, but she still works for the UFC and she's still hot.

She is born in California and she's 24 years old. Although not a card girl for the UFC, she is the host of UFC All Access on Spike TV.

Her real name is Rachelle Lean San Filippo, and she began modeling at 18 years old. She was a model for several boxing websites, and that's where the UFC first saw her. They loved her immediately, and she soon became a UFC Octagon girl.

She is the only Octagon girl that has posed for Playboy, and I'm predicting big things for this young beautie in the future.

Arianny Celeste

Arianny is one of the most popular Octagon girls in MMA today. She comes from Las Vegas and began working for the UFC in June 2006.

She wasn't a big MMA fan, but when she received the call to be a UFC Octagon girl, she accepted. She said that she loved the sport after attending her first event, and she's happy for the opportunity.

She also has a passion for music and sings alot, and says she loves everything from rock to hip-hop to pop.

Arianny became a huge fan of the sport and even began training in MMA. She said her main purpose is to stay in shape, but she also said that, if the opportunity presented itself, she could possibly become a fighter.

She dated UFC fighter Josh Burkman for some time and rumors of her dating Roger Huerta also surfaced, but ended up being untrue.

Logan Stanton

Logan is the new Octagon girl that made her debut at UFC 92. She is also the youngest, at just 20 years old. After Edith had Visa problems and could not make it for UFC 92, Logan was brought in and became a big fan favorite.

She met with Dana White and Craig Borsari after modeling in Miami and she became an Octagon girl.

Her mother pushed her to become a model at a young age, but Logan wasn't too much into it. She left her hometown of Niceville, Fla., and decided to try modeling when she was 19 years old.

She made it into the UFC less than a year later.

These four girls do much more than just walk around the Octagon and look beautiful.

They endure the extensive traveling, the photo shoots, the interviews, and those are just a few things they have to worry about.

Give these girls the respect they deserve because they work very hard.
