James Harrison Agrees to Six More Years of Terror in Pittsburgh

Bare KnucksApr 13, 2009
Freak linebacker James Harrison and the Pittsburgh Steelers just agreed to a six-year, $51.75 million deal.

Following stellar play from Harrison the last two seasons, the Steelers didn’t want any chances of him suiting up in anything but black and gold, making him the highest paid LB in the NFL.

Pittsburgh will keep the undrafted madman from Kent State around for another six years. This wasn’t necessarily a bad move by the Steelers, but it might be a little dicey.

James Harrison is undoubtedly a great linebacker. I’m sure we all remember the interception TD return in the Super Bowl with time expiring in the first half where the crazed linebacker took it the length of the field.

I know I remember it; I have nightmares about it from time to time, and no, I am not a Cardinals fan.

I don’t want to be slanderous, but to look at James Harrison on the football field and not question performance enhancers or crazy pills is preposterous. Clearly the LB has some rage…if you want proof of this take a look at his domestic violence incident, or the ridiculous penalty (should’ve been kicked out of the game) in the Super Bowl.

It’s surprising the NFL hasn’t taken a thorough look into Harrison, but I can assure you they will.
