NFL Releases Schedule in Prime Time
The NFL announced the other day that its 2009 schedule is set to be released on Tuesday in prime time.

Think about it, what other league can make the release of its schedule an event, and in prime time at that? None.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Now, I realize that baseball is too long and basketball doesn't matter until the playoffs anyway, but it just shows you the kind of pull football has these days and honestly, it's something I'll - and most of you—will be looking forward to anyway.
It'll give us a chance to envision our team's premier matchups for the upcoming season, potential fantasy picks based on schedule, and for Vegas to begin tinkering with its futures bets.
The announcement of week one already created a buzz surrounding some of the match-ups and the final 16 weeks is sure to do the same.
Of course, things rarely ever end up playing out as we hope they will: Brady going down in Week One: Jacksonville losing three-fifths of their O-Line before the first week of the season; the Chargers stumbling out of the gate—actually, that's not much of a shock; the Cardinals ending up being good, etc.
In other words, the hype rarely ever matches the end product. But that's ok because we all like to daydream to keep our minds off other news: see tanking economy.
But you have to give the NFL credit regardless. They sure know how to stay in the forefront of our minds even when the first game is still five months away.
Next up to keep us tuned in: 2009 NFL Draft.
