2009 NFL Draft: Raider Fans in For a Big Surprise?

Since the draft is less then two weeks away, I want to explain what I think big Al has in store for us. A lot of fans want to see u trade down, but the only team they mention to be trade partners with is the eagles, well not me.  Im looking at it this way, if Al trades our 7th pick to the broncos for there 18th pick, we could also pick up their 3rd and 5th round picks.

Why I believe this trade will work is because the broncos will get there QB Sanchez and we can take Heyward-Bey at 18.  The only way this doesn't happen is if the broncos decide that they will start Orton. Which I don't think even the broncos management is that dumb. Bronco fans are angry they let Cutler go, so they need to win back some of those unhappy fans. Bringing in another future QB is just the way to do it.

The Raiders will then be able to address more of there needs on the defensive side of the ball, with the picks they gain from the Broncos.

So for the Raiders I see us going this direction:

RD1:Heyward-Bey

RD2:DT

RD3:S                                                                                                              

RD3:OLB (from Broncos)

RD4:DE

RD5:OL(from Broncos)

RD7:DB

Now I'm not trying to sound like I have inside connections or anything, this is just what I think our best move would be. If a draft day trade doesn't happen, look for us to draft Heyward-Bey at seven.  For those who think Al wont pick Bey that high, need to think again, this is the same man that took a kicker in the first round, so it can happen and will.
