The Program: What LSU Needs to Focus on in Spring Practice

Barrett Sallee@BarrettSalleeSEC Football Lead WriterFebruary 26, 2013

LSU is going through the proverbial "rebuilding year" in 2013 after severe roster turnover from 2012—particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

That will put a ton of pressure on first-year offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and senior quarterback Zach Mettenberger, who will have to pick up the slack for the Tigers as they look to get back into position to play for the SEC title.

Will LSU's rebuilding year prove to be more of a challenge, or will the Tigers just "reload" as they have so many times in the past? CFB analyst Marc Kohn and SEC lead writer Barrett Sallee break down what LSU needs to work on this spring in this edition of The Program.
