No Surprise: Carl Edwards On the Pole for Nashville Nationwide Race

Mary Jo BuchananApr 11, 2009

Nationwide series driver Carl Edwards has more wins at Nashville Superspeedway than any other track in the circuit. So, it is no wonder that Cousin Carl, or Concrete Carl in this case, has secured the pole position for the Nashville 300.

In the last seven races at that track, Edwards has six top-five finishes. Included in that impressive record is the fact that he has won three of those races.

Edwards' average finish at Nashville is a remarkable fourth place. This is, however, Edwards' first pole at the Nashville Superspeedway, rounding out his many accomplishments at that track.
