Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is (total £124.25, up £99.25)
Five weeks gone, and we are just 75p away from being able to boast about making over £100 profit by flexing our footballing knowledge in the betting arena. Truthfully, how many of you backed us?
Having proved ourselves right more often than not, it is probably time for you to concede that you really should start following our advice, sign up to 888.com here, and start leaching off of our predictions. Or don’t, and stay poor. The choice is yours.
Damn you Mariano Gonzalez.

Had Porto not scored their 89th minute equaliser at Old Trafford our first bet of the week, the Rooney to score/Manchester United double would have proven accurate and the coffers would have swelled further.
Instead this week’s earning came from backing the Old Firm to both win midweek, and then the our best prediction to-date, backing the Blues to overturn the Reds on home soil.
But, adopting the football cliche that one’s clairvoyance is only as good as your last prediction, this is no time to rest on our laurels. Rather, it is time to chase down the big £200 profit margin starting with this week’s bets.
Chelsea follow-up on their midweek triumph by taking on the Ginger Mourinho’s Bolton at the Bridge on Saturday. With the feel good factor back in SW7, chances of an upset appear slim to none, and Frank Lampard (5/4 to score) and co are suitably reduced to 2/7 for the win.
Over in Germany, having slumped to a disappointing run since the turn of the year to see them fall out of the title race, Hoffenheim have the opportunity the register their first win in nine matches when they take on Bochum at the Rhein Neckar Arena.
Bochum are perfect fodder for the Village Team, hovering nervously above the drop-zone and struggling to find any form with time running out in the season.
We are placing a tenner on the Chelsea (2/7), Hoffenheim (8/13) double home win looking to earn a £20.77 return.
The Portuguese Superliga offers two homers this weekend which also look dead certs. Second-place Sporting Lisbon welcome Naval and with five wins and a draw in their last six games, Sporting look odds-on to pick up the three points.
Joining them in having a home-banker are Porto who, sitting four points clear in top-spot, entertain Estrela Amadora at the Estadio do Dragao.
Things get a little riskier in our final bet.
Manchester City were well and truly battered by Hamburg in the UEFA Cup and, with just two days rest before they have to return to the field against Fulham, the Cottagers chances at picking up a rare away victory seem better than usual.
The form book is bleak though for Fulham. Roy Hodgson’s side have won just once on their travels this season while City have taken 30 points from a possible 45 at home this term, winning their last six Premier League games at the City of Manchester stadium.
But City approach Sunday’s match with an injury list that includes SWP, Bellamy, Bridge and Kompany and this makes Fulham’s odds of 10/3 for the win look all that more appealing. We are taking a pot-shot, staking £7 for a £30.33 return.
There is still time to enter our Goal of the Month competition, where all the winners will earn FREE MONEY. Check it out here.
