After Winning Bet, Washington Redskins Fan Will Name Son Robert Griffin
Emanuel Vega and Marissa Pena are a couple living in Tuscon, Ariz. Vega is a Washington Redskins fan. Pena is a Dallas Cowboys fan—and also happened to be with child when the two sat down to watch that Thanksgiving Day matchup between the 'Skins and 'Boys this past fall.
Naturally, this was a prime opportunity to place a friendly wager on the game. On the line was the name of their first son.
Of course, Washington was victorious at Cowboys Stadium that day and now Pena is seven months pregnant with Robert Griffin Vega.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It would have been weirder had the Cowboys won, because Pena was ready to go with Miles Austin Vega. The two had already vetoed Emmitt Smith and Darrell Green.
"I was second-guessing the whole time, like, What am I thinking?" Vega told Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post. "If she's gonna name him after a Cowboys player, there's no doubt he would be a Cowboys fan. My son, as a Cowboys fan? I might have to disown him."
And don't expect a reprieve from Vega, or Pena to beg for double-or-nothing. She's says she has no regrets. Although I get the feeling she's going to refer to her son as Rob or Robby more often than not.
