The Diagnosis: "Visca El Barça! The Best Team In Europe"
Well, the "Lederhosen gang" just got spanked (again) in Barcelona by "els blaugrana".
I was not expecting it, you were not expecting it, not even the Barça squad was expecting it.
4-0?! In a CL quarter-final's match?! That is incredible!

And it's Bayern Munich, the German team, the team that is supposed to be the perfect machine.
Well, Bayern was far off from being the German precision machine.
The ball flowed with speed through the creative feet of Iniesta, Eto'o, Henry and Messi and before half-time the Catalan fans were already booking their after-party in some nightclub.
During the second half there were only some two or three nice moments. Messi's shot hit the bar after a spectacular save by the German keeper and Keita blocked Messi's shot close to the end of the game, which would have definitely sealed the game with a 5-0!
What do we learn from here?
Barça will win this year's Champions League.
Why?
Chelsea got lucky against Liverpool, who conceded two goals on corner kicks - unbelievable.
Barça is going to outplay Chelsea, because in that team everybody is a problem for the opposing side, and Barça's pace is just too fast.
Man Utd. can't handle a minor team like Porto, so they won't be that good when confronted with a big team. Imagine if instead of Porto's forwards, Barça's armada would be thrown on the pitch...pfft, forget about it...
Well, Arsenal and Vilarreal are two weak and unexperienced to beat Barça, lets face it.
Bayern were already down after they lost 5-1 to the German superpower Wolfsburg(I heard, that that's the club in which all the stars play, or did I get it wrong?). Now they were humiliated 4-0 against Barça.
Heads will roll in Munich!
Looks like Klinsi will be back to his California days...
Well, at least somewhere some Sporting fan is smiling, with a yellow grin though.
Barça showed (again) that they are the best side in Europe. They have it all. Creative players, finishers, brick walls, like Puyol, you name it!
Most importantly: They play together.
Barças four goals were the result of an excellent team effort. Beautiful passes that when put together, created great opportunities and some big holes in the German's Lederhosen.
Even better is the fact that Barça has a lot of former youth players from their cantera in their starting eleven that are making the difference: Messi, Puyol, Iniesta, Xavi, Bojan are clear examples of that.
This really shows us, that Platini's rule (see article: Why Platini's Decision to Reduce CL Spots is right) is right. Reducing the number of foreign players in a team and to oblige teams to use their youths is not going to stop teams from playing better.
Take that, Chelski!
Well, what about the second leg?
Wait, my travel agency just called, it's about my trip to Rome.
Going on... if history repeats itself, Barcelona will revenge Sporting and will beat Bayern 6-1.
Of course not.
The second leg will depend a lot on the morale of Bayern's players.
If they still believe in their qualification (which I frankly believe, that they don't), then we'll see a nice battle, at least I think so.
If they don't...Well then Barça is going to trash them. When you don't believe in yourself, then there's nothing left to do.
Tell that to Sporting's players!
Well, I'll have to end now. I have to go celebrate the semi-final qualification.
Adeu! See you in Rome!
