Turn My Swagger On! Kidd is Bourne to Fly, Looking for a Backlash
Is it me or is ECW looking better these days? The draft is next week, but hopefully WWE doesn't destroy the foundation ECW is building if you want to call it that. I'm absolutely a Jack Swagger fan, but he never gets the time of day.
We all can agree that he was snubbed at Wrestlemania. The fact that Christian lost the Money in the bank really gets me going because he just should have fought Swagger for the ECW belt instead. Swagger's ring work is good and looks better by the day.
He executes one mean gutwrench power bomb. He does a good job gaining heat and is the best ECW champion since RVD might I say. He's very promising and It'll be devastating to lose him to another brand, but I think WWE knows better right?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
It's very surprising that ECW would be better than RAW this week. Yes I said ECW was better though it wa an hour and it's a shame. Batista's return and the six man tag match at Backlash for the WWE title means nothing to me.
Opinions will differ but my eyes on are on the Race to Backlash tournament. This brand has less wrestlers and less popular stars to work with yet they did a smashing job. Jack Swagger definitely has some Swagger and it's time to recognize if you haven't already.
Out of all three world championships, I'd say the ECW title has the most value right now. It doesn't have the rich history and best stars aren't carrying it but Swagger had that belt for a while and it adds some prestige to it, sorry Henry.
Tiffany is the new GM of ECW, does anyone know her last name? Vickie Guerrero chose RAW as her new home and Teddy Long is heading back to run Smackdown (it's about time, the "stroke" was that bad?).
Tiffany brought the hotness when she came out. She was turning heads alright, but not only for her looks.
She put ECW champ Jack Swagger in his place and announced that he would defend the title at Backlash. Since Swagger had no contender, Tiffany announced the Race to Backlash tournament which included Finlay, Christian, Mark Henry, and Tommy Dreamer, the only contenders other than Evan Bourne maybe.
I was under the assumption that it would be a series of one on one matches, but I was satisfied with what transpired. All four met in the ring for a fatal four way. Mark Henry was too dominant, so Finlay knocked out cold with the shaleighlay.
Henry being pinned resulted in him being eliminated from the tournament. The concept of "avoiding being pinned or submitting" to move on is good. Next week should be a triple threat match with the person who submits or pinned is eliminated paving way for the final one on one bout.
Tiffany is already looking great as GM and I'm looking forward to Swagger's match rather than Edge vs Cena and the six man tag. Miz and Morrison might not be around for much longer but something else is in the works.
Evan Bourne has been on a role since he returned from his injury. He's beaten the crap out of Swagger, MNM2, and Tyson Kidd, who isn't happy about his undefeated streak ending. The two meet in the ring for the third time apart of a six man tag with the Colons and MNM2.
They put on a real good show and blended lightning quick moves with clever reversals and high flying stunts. Kidd has yet to pin Bourne, heck no one has pinned him since his return. If Kidd is the one to do so, then this rivalry will turn into a feud. Natalya doesn't get involved, so that's good.
WWE has a great feud in their hands, let's see what becomes of it. I'm very high on Tyson Kidd. It's good to know that at least one show has redeemed themselves, especially after last week's pre-show in Sunday Night Heat fashion.
My hat's off to ECW, hopefully I'll be saying the same next week after the draft.
