New York Yankees: 161-1 Ain't Too Shabby

One game in the books and the Yankees stand at a record of 0-1, and they are currently fourth in the AL East (tied with the Rays).

We all wanted this season to start off on the right foot, and I know we all have high hopes for this team, but every season has it’s ups and downs.

Do I think C.C. had a terrible start? Yes, but he has the rest of the season to show us what he has. You don’t judge a player until the season is over, because you never know what may happen later on.

I don’t like those Mets fans who are already running their mouths about how they are 1-0 and we are 0-1. It’s one game—relax. Let’s see them not choke in September and then I’ll let them talk.

Am I going to go crazy if the Yanks win tomorrow and the Mets lose? No. I understand that it’s a long season and things can change very quickly.

Throughout the course of the season you will have injuries, struggling players, tabloid issues, and losing streaks. On the other hand, the team might be on a roll and everything is going well.

That’s the great part about baseball season—there is a long journey to the playoffs. We all know we aren’t winning 161 games, haha, but this team can surely have a heck of a season.

I have never seen a team with such talent in my life. Let’s hope that when A-Rod returns things will get even better.
