Dear WWE No. 7: Where Have All the Stables Gone?

The Doctor Chris MuellerApr 7, 2009

In this edition of Dear WWE, J will be asking the question, where have all the stables gone?

I remember watching WWE back in 1999, a time where there were more stables on raw than there are in all of wrestling right now.

The APA, DX, The Hart Foundation, The Ministry, and The Corporation are just a few that come to mind.  Now, all we have is Legacy.  Seriously? Just Legacy?

How about giving the newer guys a chance at a stable.

Take for excample, Tyson Kidd, Chavo, Morrison, and the Miz.

My idea is to have them form a heel stable for ECW and Smackdown.  Or maybe a face stable of Bourne, DJ Gabriel Primo, and Carlito would work.  Either way, there are a lot of possible combinations.

Maybe another nation of domination is in order, one led by one of the original members, Mark Henry.  I know that the WWE moved away from stables a while back, and it seems to be too much of a coincidence that their ratings dropped around the same time.

Here's another idea for a stable: Jericho, Edge, Orton, and Christian, if the latter were to turn heel.  They could dominate over Legacy.  Hows about you have the Undertaker and Kane reunite and form a dark stable, similar to The Ministry.

Any way you look at it, there is an abundant amount of talent and not alot of screen time to go around.

There are currently five hours a week of WWE programming, about two hours of which is video packages about the main feuds at the time, or WWE Studio's film that is coming out.

What stables do you think should form? Let me know, and thanks for reading
