The Nickel: Batista Returns, Vickie Stays for Good, No Redemption for RAW

Unified Tag Team Championship Rematch

WWE's first step at redemption starts here, I suppose. It was the same fashion as Wrestlemania XXV, a lumberjack match. I'm really starting to give props to the Colons, they're better than I thought.

I gave up on Carlito when he turned face, but Juni Ramos, my homie reopened my eyes. Morrison's flip off the top rope was better than half of Wrestlemania XXV. The Colons retain, and I guess it sort of makes up for not showing the first bout at Wrestlemania.

Santina Marella

Are you kidding me?! Great, we're gonna have to watch this now. I know people thought it was funny, but I don't anymore. A Diva could have gotten some sort of push with a victory.

Now we have see Santino play "Santina" for lord knows how long and I'm not fond of it at all. He faced Beth Phoenix and defeated her tonight. It's boring already.

I never wanted Santino to win and now it looks like we're in for the long haul. Can you imagine this crap going to Summerslam or something?! My goodness, redemption has faded.

Batista Return

Great ol' musclehead is back and just in time for Backlash. Vince backed out of the 6-man tag between the McMahons and Legacy and Batista has taken his place. Orton needs some help.

This is ridiculous it was bad enough Legacy could barely handle the McMahons but now Muscle head is back. Well back to thumbs down and having a non-substance character around again.

The question isn't what he'll do at Backlash, but how long till he rushes into the world title picture. He came back and my jaw didn't drop, I didn't cheer..I didn't care.

If they think bringing back some extremely muscular idiot is going to redeem anything then there crazy. It's always good to have talent back but sorry, I'm not taking this Batista return...i'll leave it.

Great. Is this foreshadowing Edge being drafted to RAW? Well she got to work quickly by putting the WWE title on the line in the six-man tag at Backlash. I'm not sure how I'm taking this, I don't like Vickie that much..she's ok I guess.

I want to see how she'll do on RAW now. I'm not really wondering how she'll make her impact, I'm wondering who'll be the new Smackdown GM. Still not making up for Mania as well.

Rest Of The Show

- Can we give Steamboat some more props? Ricky Steamboat put on another performance and it was stellar might I say. ALL STARS?! KANE?! Where the hell is Benjamin? Snubs continue.

-Four lackluster matches, show sucked as a whole

-Batista doesn't make up for Mania

-Vickie as RAW GM isn't doing it for me, either

-HBK absence: Rest HBK, you deserved it

- 12 Rounds Trailer..YUP! RAW has redeemed themselves

-Divas tag match. Umm, I utterly love Natalya (My No. 1) but she's not a SD! Diva, where's McCool?
