Funny or Die Makes All Your Bane Super Bowl Blackout Jokes Reality

The nation collectively joked that Batman villain Bane no doubt had a hand in the bizarre moment the power went out at Super Bowl XLVII.

We were right.

Funny or Die produced a hilarious video proving Bane's involvement in the odd delay that took place in the third quarter of Sunday's Super Bowl between the Ravens and 49ers.

For the last couple of days, we have been searching for the reason behind the famed blackout. First, it was Beyonce's fault, and then it wasn't, and then we had video from the booth provided by CBS

You can all stop your sleuthing, because we figured it out.

It seems Bane was plotting to set off a bomb and pulled the plug on the Superdome, only to find out he also pulled the plug on the audio feed.

What transpires is pretty much a compilation of various jokes you may have seen on Twitter during Sunday's delay.

However, they are so much more brilliant as Bane waves at the crowd from the JumboTron, silenced by his own failure.

The best was listening to Bane, a character who featured in The Dark Knight Rises, banter with his henchmen like he was at a water cooler on Monday morning.

"Did you see Beyonce? I thought she was good. Best halftime show I've seen since Prince."

The villain also really enjoyed the Oreo commercial, thinking it was pretty clever.

Bane, the comedian America deserves.
