(Deep Voiced guy): NFL calls BS on the drug allegations. Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears make a behind the scenes trade you should know about and how it helps reshape the NFL Draft.
Why the Saints can very well ignore defense and draft Chris “Beanie” Wells.

This and more on NFL Draft Jabber…
You may have heard about this trade that the Bears and Broncos made last week. This move makes an impact on the NFL Draft in many ways…Denver could be the team to take the 2nd QB, whoever that may be.
They have two first rounders, giving them the ability to move around. If they do take QB, a defensive player that they would have likely taken can fall into the lap of another team.
In our latest mock draft the Broncos are not taking Kyle Orton as “the guy” that will get them back on top.
There is a lot of talk about the Saints taking Chris “Beanie” Wells out of Ohio State with the No. 14 pick. “But they need defense…” the crowd yells.
Well, they always do need defense, right? We are many years removed from the Dome Patrol. The Saints have made a couple moves in recent years that would show they could pull the trigger on Wells.
They took Will Smith in 2004 when they already had Charles Grant as a high pick at DE. They took that Reggie Bush guy in 2006 when Deuce McAllister was already a fan favorite in New Orleans (in fact they took McAllister when they already had Ricky Williams in 2001).
The Saints will have to REALLY like Wells to take him since they will not be picking again for a while. Which leads me to think they would be the perfect trading partner for someone to move up if Mark Sanchez falls to No. 14.
Chris Steuber at Scout.com has stood pat on Mark Sanchez being the first overall pick going to the Lions in his Mock Draft. You don’t see a lot of Sanchez going first overall. In his latest update he has the Broncos moving up to the No.3 spot to take the next best available QB.
Meanwhile, Matt Stafford ranks No. 1 in 91% of our partner mocks in the NFL Mock Draft Database. Aaron Curry and Jason Smith push their way into the No. 1 spot in a couple of them.
Should the Giants go Wide Receiver in the first round? Why not?
The G-Men have put themselves in the position of not really having many needs. They gave Plaxico Burress the boot last week, opening the door for a playmaker. Sure, WR’s don’t make an immediate impact and they could address it in Free Agency (Torry Holt) or a trade (Anquan Boldin).
They still have the ability to take one of those WR’s that are a little raw late in the first and let him develop while bringing in the older guy for this season.
A certain website that reported (in one liner fashion with no source when I looked) that several top NFL Draft prospects had tested positive for drugs. They got themselves some attention as many involved in the allegations are calling it B.S., including the NFL.
It’s something in the Nets they call viral. I don’t know their motives but I can tell you that you can bet their hits spiked when those one liners were posted and then reported on.
