Manchester City FC, Mark Hughes Is Not The Way Forward!
From day one this Manchester City fan has given Mark Hughes the benefit of the doubt, does he deserve it? I am starting to think otherwise.
I feel rather short changed at present after being shown nothing in exchange for my faith in the former Manchester United player.
I have thought once or twice "does this guy have an ulterior motive", then I have quickly said to myself "don't be so silly", is it a silly thought?, does Hughes have a special phone line straight to Alex Ferguson's office?.

Well after seeing the likes of Micah Richards (a Right-footed Right-back) playing at left-back and seeing who was thought to be the next Sol Campbell gift opposition clubs goals due to silly mistakes.
Aswell as seeing Zabaleta pushed into playing at Left-back, another Right-footed player.
Watching Elano devastatingly disappear with completely below par performances after such an immense first season performance, I thought to myself would that be down to the fact that Robinho had arrived at City but then thought, no way, that would only bring out the best in any player and not the worst.
Then there is Robinho, I have come to the conclusion our style of play works well with Robinho but our Midfield lacks authority and strong presence, we only have Steven Ireland in Midfield capable of matching Robinho.
Though how much I value Shaun Wright-Phillips, he is not the best defencive player and his height does act against him though he still is an immense attacking player so believe he should be played to his strengths.
I think SWP or Robinho should be playing behind our out and out striker.
Wait a minute, what out and out striker?, the only two close enough to that are Daniel Sturridge and Valeri Bojinov who has been injured for how long. What is going on there, well Hughes and Mr Nike are to blame there for not bringing in such a player.
Seems our Squad list is more messed up than we thought.
Mark Hughes had nothing to do with Steven Ireland upping his game, that's all down to Stevie so all credit lands completely on his doorstep.
If we look back earlier in the season we City fans were screaming at Hughes for always playing Darius Vassel ahead of Daniel Sturridge and now he prefers the average Ched Evans ahead of Daniel Sturridge.
What is all this mess with Daniel Sturridge's contract, why have City not done all it takes to keep him at City, he is in my opinion the best young striker we have ahead of Caicedo and Evans?.
We all know Mark Hughes will end up with another Transfer Window before he completely fails and I have finally come to the conclusion no new signings will be strong enough to save his job.
Sure he has made some good buys in De Jong, Bridge and Given but think about it, they are all proven class, I did just as good a job on Football Manager games when I were a kid.
If I had the power I would sack Mark Hughes now and bring in Ancelloti or the Special One.
Mark Hughes is out of his Depth and we only have half a squad, you'd think you could use that excuse for Mark Hughes and i even used it as an excuse earlier in the season but I have changed my opinion.
Away from home City lack passion, guile, strength and unity, seeing our players chicken out, turning their back and allowing free space to opposition, few of our squad actually close down the opposition at all, watching us against Arsenal was just so frustrating, I was screaming and shouting so much I almost choked at one point making my throat red raw and sore.
Will we see Mark Hughes get fired before or after the next transfer window?
I am hoping for before the transfer window but not holding much hope, all I know is, Mark Hughes can not do any worse than he is now and at-least that is something we should be happy about, not getting relegated.
