UFC 156 Results: 'Bigfoot' Silva Mocks Overeem with Post-Fight Twitter Pic

John HeinisJun 8, 2018

The biggest winner from UFC 156 was arguably Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, knocking out former K-1 kickboxing champion Alistair Overeem in impressive fashion.

"The Demolition Man" had some choice words for Silva during the weigh-ins, also calling the bout a "warm-up fight" prior to a title bout with heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.

With that in mind, it's no surprise that referee Herb Dean had to pull "Pezao" away from Overeem as he screamed at the fallen hulking heavyweight after he was knocked out cold.

The Brazilian wasn't done rubbing it in yet, though, as he took to Twitter after the fight to post a picture depicting his relationship with the former Strikeforce heavyweight champion.

"

Who is the king of Miami?? Quem e o rei de Miami?? Obg. A todos pela torcida..."Amo todos vcs"...Brasillllll twitter.com/BigfootSilva/s…

— Antonio Pezao Silva (@BigfootSilva) February 3, 2013"

According to Bloody Elbow, the tweet translates to "Who is the king of Miami? Thanks. To all the fans ... "I love y'all" ... Brasillllll."

Silva and Overeem have both lived and trained in Miami recently, and the photo itself is poking fun at Overeem's recent photo shoot with an alligator.

After suffering extremely lopsided knockout losses to Daniel Cormier and Velasquez, Silva has now scored back-to-back KOs of Travis Browne and Overeem.

Meanwhile, "The Reem" sees a 12-fight undefeated streak snapped, suffering his first loss since September 2007.

This serious shakeup of the heavyweight division leaves the next title challenger a question mark, though UFC president Dana White says that Velasquez facing off with his American Kickboxing Academy teammate Cormier is a possibility
