What's In Store for "The Axe Murderer" Wanderlei Silva

What's in store for the Axe Murderer. Well his next bout is at UFC 99 in Germany against former Middleweight champion Rich "Ace" Franklin. I believe this is a great fight to bring Silva back to the title shot range. Yes he will have to go through a few more fights to get to that title shot, but it will bring him back.

But the question is " What does Silva need to do to get to that title shot? "

I can see a first round win for Silva in this fight in Germany (sorry Franklin). But I do see Silva winning this one. Silva is a very good fighter and a very aggressive one at that.

Franklin is more timed and relaxed in his fight which could give Silva the loss if Franklin can catch him with a punch, kick or counter-punch. Either way, this is going to be a great fight, full of action.

Another question that rises up is "Win or Lose what is Silva's future?"

As I said in the at the start, I see Silva winning and going onto a few more fights, and if he wins those, getting a title shot. Fights I would like to see in the future for Silva.

1.Wanderlei Silva vs. Dan Henderson, That would be a good fight for Henderson after coming out of coaching this seasons ultimate fighter UK vs. USA. It would also be a good fight for Silva in his road back to a title shot.

Henderson has had some trouble in some of his fights since coming to the UFC from pride. He loss to Jackson in their fight to unify the light-heavyweight belts from pride and the UFC, and his title in the middleweight to Anderson Silva. But he won his last two fights.

2. Wanderlei Silva vs. Chuck Liddell II. That would be a great fight in both of their quest to get to the title shot scene. Chuck Liddell as I said in one of my past articles is a great fighter, but has had a rough past two years. If he does good at his next fight, at UFC 97, then maybe a future fight between the two would be a good bout.

3. Wanderlei Silva vs. Forrest Griffin. That would be good for a return fight for Griffin after losing the title to Rashad Evans. Silva would do well in that fight as well.

That is what I would like to see out of Silva.
