Why Terrelle Pryor Is Darth Vader

About a year ago at this time, Michigan fans were hopeful that Terrelle Pryor would be a Wolverine. Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez was very high on him and was ready to hand him the starting job at quarterback.

Pryor reportedly really liked Rodriguez as well. Michigan fans saw him as The Chosen One. But how did he go from being Anakin Skywalker to Darth Vader?

I guess he saw greener pastures at Ohio State. He actually thinks that the Buckeyes have a chance to win a national title. Perhaps somebody neglected to show him the game film of the previous two title games.

He took the quick path to the dark side. Sure as a Buckeye, he will have winning seasons quite easily. At Michigan the first two years would have been a struggle, but nothing worth having comes easy. The last two years, he could have been part of something big.

He also took forever to make up his mind. Michigan held a scholarship for him. When he decided to be the enemy, Michigan had nobody to recruit. They were stuck with Steven Threet. Thanks Terrelle.

Since he chose the quick path to the dark side and to be with the enemy, Michigan must destroy the Sith. 

At the end of last season, I knew Michigan would lose to Ohio State. This was a rebuilding team still in construction. My only hope was that Michigan punish Terrelle Pryor. They needed to send him a message and make him regret joining the dark side. They did that, especially in the first quarter. They came at him early and often.

But have no fear Michigan fans. While Terrelle Pryor chose to be Darth Vader, Tate Forcier will be Luke Skywalker. Yes the young padawan will struggle with his Jedi training at first. But in the end the rebel alliance will prevail and we will destroy the Sith.
