J.J. Watt's Heartwarming Proposal and Other Must-Reads from Around the AFC South

Nate DunlevyFeb 1, 2013

J.J. Watt will likely win Defensive Player of the Year at a ceremony Saturday night, but he's already won the heart of Houston.

Turns out, one particular heart he owns more than most.

According to Stephen Douglas of the Big Lead, Watt set up a cute, but obviously fake, proposal to a six-year-old girl who starred in a Youtube video.

Little Brianna was heartbroken she couldn't marry Watt because she's not 25 years old.

Watt reached out to the family and set up a meeting with the child and even dropped to one knee to propose.

Watt has a well-documented history of making a difference in the lives of kids and it's fantastic to see an athlete reaching out to fans, even little ones.

It's just one more reason Watt has become the heart of the Texans and one of the most well-loved athletes in Houston.

Well, that and 20.5 sacks.
