Champions League Predictions

Barcelona v. Bayern Munich

Really disappointed that the two clubs who I think can really trouble the English clubs and put a halt to the dominance in this year's competition have to face one another. On paper anyone would go with Barcelona, particularly because they are at home. But players like Ribery, Lahm and Toni could really trouble Barcelona. Though I will go with Barcelona

Villarreal v. Arsenal

The Gunners are finding form at the right time of the season for competitions such as the Champions league and FA Cup. Players are coming back and there seems to be an overall confident mood in the Arsenal camp. The same cannot be said however for the "Yellow Submarines" who have just been defeated 3-0 by Almeria. Home advantage might help and one cannot forget talented players such as Marcos Senna, Nihat and Arsenal favourite Robert Pires. I shall go with the Gunners.

1-2 AWAY WIN

Manchester United v. Porto

The easiest tie for me, despite Man Utd's poor performances of late in the league I see them being far too strong for Porto to handle and of course the game will be at Old Trafford.

3-0 HOME WIN

Liverpool v. Chelsea

Difficult tie though year after year they have proved to be the least entertaining. It'll be tight maybe resulting in a sending off.

2-1 HOME WIN
