Warren Wells: Trusted To Get Touchdowns 4/6
It can be argued that Warren Wells was somewhat of a prodigy on the football field, and because many have witnessed his intelligence and memory off the field, he is a prodigy although he was quiet and somewhat of a loner, preferring a small sociometric of friends and acquaintances.
He is very discerning, and he “cuts to the chase.” His character on the football field was a “cut to the chase” wide receiver that would go for the touchdowns, speedily and focused.
He was gifted in completions during those last few minutes or last few seconds of a game, having the type of player integrity that Lamonica and Blanda trusted.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There were no antics in his player personality, no dances or wiggles, just a calm confidence that he had done his job, completed the passes and made the touchdowns.
Warren Wells had speed and grace, a type of ease and confidence that helped him attain that 23.13 career average. What Wells did in five years has taken others much longer.
For example, there is a research example of a child who completed an examination in half the time of the other children. A second child completed the test in twice the time of the first child, and both children made the same grade.
Who is the greater if speed is removed from the variables? This analogy can be used in Wells’ career—his speed and gift gave him numbers that have not been exceeded in more than 38 years.
Now if the NFL sets a minimum of 200 receptions, then there is a truncation in the power and sensitivity of the data, because Wells did not need a lengthy career to build up to a phenomenal average. He was the prodigy who completed the task, and attained phenomenal numbers in less time than other players.
It is time we take a good look at the measures of performance on the football field, and make certain our methodology does not suppress identification of greatness, but rather lets its radiance shine forth for the world to see and appreciate.
