There is one spot in the quarterfinals left in the Africa Cup of Nations, and it will be decided on Wednesday afternoon.

Just one, you say? That's right, just one—Ivory Coast has been so dominant in its first two games, the team has already clinched the group and faces Algeria, who hasn't so much as scored a goal and has already been eliminated.

Waiting for Ivory Coast? Nigeria, come on down. How much fun will that quarterfinal be?

That leaves us with a lose-and-go-home clash between Togo and Tunisia. Togo has the better goal differential and has scored more goals overall, so a tie will send them through to face Burkina Faso.

Let's take a closer look at Wednesday's Group D action.

What's At Stake?

For Ivory Coast and Algeria, nothing—Ivory Coast has already won the group, while Algeria has already been eliminated. I suppose you could say Algeria is playing for some pride, as the team has yet to score a goal in this tournament.

For Togo and Tunisia, everything is in play here. A chance at the quarterfinals and the right to play Burkina Faso will go to the winner of this game.

If it ends in a draw, Togo will go on since the team is ahead in goal differential and total goals scored. You can bet all eyes will be on this vital match on Wednesday.

I don't know how seriously Ivory Coast will take this match, so it's hard to make a prediction. But I do think Algeria will finally get on the board, so I'm going to go ahead and predict a 1-1 draw in that match.

This is a tough match for Tunisia. The team likes to play stingy defense and strike on the counter-attack, but Togo will likely play with a more defensive mindset needing only a draw. Plus, it only takes one lapse defensively by Tunisia for Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor to threaten.

I like this match to end in a 1-1 draw as well. A tough result for Tunisia, but I just don't think the team has the attacking class to mount a full assault on the Togo goal.
